There are many different ways to get to Hällefors. It goes without saying that for longer stays it is useful  to have a car on location. There are few possibilities to hire a car in Hällefors. And we rent out a few bikes.

From Germany you can take your car on the ferry from Puttgarden naar Rødby (Denemarken). 24 hours a day, every half hour. And 3-4 times per hour , also 24 hours a day,  you can sail from Helsingør in the north of Denmark to Helsingborg in Sweden. From there it is 550 km to Hällefors.

You can also take the toll bridge from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Malmø (Sweden). From there it is 600 km to Hällefors on beautiful, quiet roads.

The night ferry from Kiel (Germany) to Gothenburg (Sweden) is a luxury alternative, but often not that expensive. When you arrive in Gothenburg at 9 AM, driving to Hällefors takes about 4 hours.

Normally flying to Sweden is much cheaper. You can fly to Gothenburg or Stockholm and take the train to Örebro (less than 100 km from Hällefors). For your own safety, limit your speed on the Swedish roads, because it is not unlikely that you will run into a moose. So make sure you can brake in time…
