EuropeanArtists.tv rents out guest studios in a former school with the name Långvästen in Hällefors, Sweden. Former classrooms are being converted into guest studios. All studios are furnished in such a way that they are excellent places for artists and designers to live and work. When all the painting and renovating work has been completed, EuropeanArtists.tv will have at its disposal 13 guest studios, one complete apartment (with own sanitary supplies) and a smaller space which we would like to specifically offer to writers.

The guest studios are located in an extremely challenging environment. The borough of Hällefors is almost completely covered in endless, rolling forests and contains more than 400 lakes. In summer, Hällefors hardly gets dark at all, which means you can enjoy the dry, warm summers until very late in the evening. In winter it is cold, dark for most of the day, and there is usually a lot of snow.

Be inspired by the adventurous Swedish countryside, with its wolves and bears, and meet other artists and designers. Students of arts and design schools are also very welcome. The artists and designers who temporarily live and work at Långvästen are from all around Europe, giving you the opportunity to make European contacts and to find new sources of inspiration.
